The color red relates to fear hence we have the ruby daffodil, which represents a classroom cum play area, used to help remove fear.
The Ruby Daffodil - This area has a large stage which is used as a platform to encourage children to speak to an audience thus removing the fear of public speaking and shyness to interact with others. There are daily singing and story times as well as regular dance and movement sessions and opportunities for dressing up and playing musical instruments.
Daffodils is the only preschool that has mountain climbing specifically designed to remove the fear of heights. This is a result of a research conducted by our team of curriculum design who found that children at this age generally have a fear of heights.
